You have probably heard about Calysta Bevier. She is a 16 years old girl who has a really amazing voice and was invited on Ellen DeGeneres Show. But her voice was not the only reason why Ellen invited her on the show; it was because of her life’s story. Calysta is a cancer survivor. Just a year ago, she was diagnosed with Stage II Ovarian Cancer. However, with the treatment and chemo therapies, she has now recovered.
In this video below, we see her auditioning for America’s Got Talent this year. She sang her favorite song “Fight Song”, which was also the song which made her famous in the internet. The audiences were already emotional to learn her story. But when they heard her voice, they were left in goosebumps. Even Simon Cowell was enthralled by this performance and he gave Calysta a golden buzzer.
