Fred Rogers is an inspiration for millions of kids and people around the world. Even though he left this earth in 2003, his lessons are still stuck in our head. He was the mastermind behind the famous kid’s TV series Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. This show is recognized as one of the most educational TV series that was ever broadcasted.
In 1981, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood invited a special guest; a disabled boy named Jeff Erlanger who was handicapped when he was just 7 months old because of the problem in his nerves system. During this episode, Fred Rogers sang him ‘It’s You I Like’ and changed his life forever. Jeff was inspired by the soft spoken and kind natured Mr. Rogers. So 20 years later Jeff surprised Mr. Rogers by appearing at the TV Hall of Fame.
