Jennifer Bricker was abandoned by her parents when she was just an infant. They gave her up for adoption because she was born without legs due to a devastating birth defect. That’s when Sharon and Gerald Bricker came into the scene and decided to adopt her and raise her as their own child. They taught her to never believe in the word “can’t”.
Little did they know that this life lesson would have a huge impact on Jennifer. Despite having no legs, she wanted to be a gymnast. She never gave up hope and her wonderful parents supported her through it all. Because of sheer willpower, practice, and determination, Jennifer received a lot of trophies and the title of the state’s best tumbler in gymnastics!
