Cat Refused To Leave The Reception Area. So What The Nursing Home Staff Did In Return? WOW!

St. Augustine Health Ministries got an unexpected guest. Oreo the kitty started showing up at the retirement center without any notice. She would spend time with the residents, and soon enough, her sweet behavior created a place for her in their hearts. That is when they adopted the cat and made her their own.

One day, the receptionist came to work, when she saw somebody else at her table. It was Oreo the cat, and she instantly knew that this critter really wanted to be there.

“She’s like the family here. She helps the residents, she helps the employees, and we just love her”

“Most of the people we serve here had pets… so to have Oreo here, to be able to come out and pet the cat…”

“And see how the cat is doing… it brings… those feelings of home.”

“I think [Oreo] just brings a lot of laughter, a lot of smiles, and a lot of just normalcy.”

Oreo has been making the residents of the home smile ever since. The following video shows her doing what she does best—what a little angel!
