It is said that elephants never forget. Their memory power is greater than most of the land animals on earth. This video below features the reunion of an old elephant trainer and his beloved elephant who he had donated to an animal park 15 years ago. Will the elephant be able to recognize him?
In 1988, 80 year old elephant trainer Charlie Franks went to visit his beloved elephant Nita who he had raised when she was just five years old. This event was covered by the TV program host Huell. Charlie and Nita were best friends who had worked together in many performances and even appeared in the big screen. But in early 1970s Charlie retired and after travelling the world with his beloved Nita, he donated her to San Diego Wild Animal Park.
Charlie passed away shortly after this reunion while Nita died in 2009 at the age of 60. Watch this video below and share your thoughts with us in the comments!
