When Sal Valentinetti walked onstage, I thought he was going to mess up his audition in America’s Got Talent. Not because he was nervous, but quite the opposite. Throughout the years, I have seen a lot of AGT audiences and most of the times the person who is confident and too proud of his talent, would mess up his audition. I feared the worst for Sal, but apparently he was not just “big talk”.
Sal sang “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. When I heard his voice and saw the reaction from the judges, I couldn’t believe my eyes. He brought the house down with single performance. Even Simon Cowell was impressed and said that Sal was really an old soul.
